Wise coupon code
A fee-free first transfer abroad, and the account I run my GmbH on.
Wise is the account I use to run my GmbH day to day, and this page covers the Wise coupon in full: the exact bonus, the real fees, how it works for a Swiss business, and where it beats Revolut. I have used it for years for cross-border payments and everyday company spending.
What the Wise coupon gives you
Open Wise through the coupon link below and your first international transfer is fee-free up to a set amount, usually a few hundred francs. The saving sits on top of the already low, upfront fees Wise charges, and there is no code to type.
Your first transfer abroad is fee-free up to a set amount.

Wise fees explained
Wise converts at the real mid-market exchange rate and shows the fee upfront, so there is no markup hidden in the rate. As a guide:
- Personal account: free to open, no monthly fee
- Debit card: CHF 8 one-time, no subscription
- Transfers and conversions: from about 0.19% of the amount
- ATM withdrawals: free up to CHF 230 per month, then 2.69%
- Business account: a one-time registration fee (I paid CHF 55), and no recurring cost
For a Swiss GmbH this matters: with Wise there is no monthly business subscription, unlike Revolut Business, so once you are set up the running cost is close to zero.
How to open Wise with the coupon
- Open Wise through the coupon link above.
- Verify your identity, and for a company, register your GmbH.
- Add money or order the digital card.
- Your first transfer is fee-free up to the set amount, with no code to enter.
Who Wise is best for
Wise fits freelancers and Swiss GmbHs who pay or get paid across currencies, and anyone who wants a multi-currency account without a monthly fee. If you mostly need everyday CHF banking, neon is simpler; for travel spending, Revolut is strong. For business, Wise is my pick.
Wise review: pros, cons and personal experience
I run my GmbH on Wise and pay all my day-to-day business expenses with the digital credit card. I first opened Revolut Business, but I could not create a Swiss QR-bill invoice and it charges a monthly fee, so it worked out more expensive. With Wise I paid a one-time CHF 55 to open the business account and there is no recurring cost.
The feature that sealed it: at the end of each quarter I export the CAMT file and import it straight into my accounting in AbaNinja, and it works with bexio too. That has been available since around April 2026 and makes reconciliation painless.
Pros of Wise
- The best option I have found for business payments
- One-time setup fee, then very low running costs
- CAMT export that imports cleanly into bexio and AbaNinja
- The real mid-market exchange rate, shown upfront
- A digital card that is ready to use immediately
Cons of Wise
- You pay a small fee on currency exchange, noticeable if you come from Revolut
- No Swiss QR-bill invoicing, so you still invoice from your accounting tool
Wise vs Revolut for a Swiss business
I tried both. Revolut Business charges a monthly fee and I could not generate a Swiss QR-bill, while Wise is a one-time fee with no subscription and reconciles cleanly through CAMT. For travel and personal spending I still love Revolut; for running the company, Wise wins.
About Wise
Wise moves money across borders at the mid-market exchange rate with a small, upfront fee, usually far cheaper than a bank transfer. You can hold dozens of currencies and get local account details in several countries.
