Swiss finance app affiliate comparison
This is a Swiss finance app affiliate comparison: every referral bonus from the money apps I use myself, side by side. It shows what you get, the conditions and the code or link, so you can pick the best offer at a glance. If you are comparing Swiss finance affiliate commissions, this page is meant to be the honest, up-to-date overview.
I use all of these apps personally, from everyday banking to long-term investing. Nothing here is a paid placement: the order and the opinions are mine.
Below you will first find a quick summary table, then a plain-language explainer on how affiliate links and referral codes work, why I share them, and a short guide to which offer fits which need.
Last updated: September 2026.
What is an affiliate link, and what is a referral code?
An affiliate link and a referral code do the same thing: they tell a company that you came through a specific person, in this case me. When you open an account through my link or type my code, the app knows to give you a welcome goodie, and to credit the person who referred you.
In practice the two words are almost interchangeable. Banks tend to call it a referral code (you type a short code like a coupon), while brokers and international services tend to use an affiliate or referral link (you just click and sign up). Either way there is nothing to install and nothing extra to pay.
Why do we do this?
The honest main reason is passive income. When someone signs up through my link or code, the company usually pays me a small referrer’s commission. It is a way to earn a little on the side from apps I would talk about anyway.
And that is the second reason: I already recommend these apps to my friends, because I use them and genuinely like them. So why not share them with the wider public too, in one honest place, instead of repeating myself in every coffee chat? You get a real offer, I get a small thank-you from the company, and nobody has to pretend it is anything else.
What is in it for you?
If you use my affiliate link or code, you get a goodie, for example starting credit, free trading credit, or waived fees. In most cases I also receive a referrer’s commission from the provider. Your goodie does not get smaller because of that: the company pays the referral reward on top, and it is usually at no extra cost to you.
That is the whole deal, and it is why disclosure matters to me. You should always know when a link earns the writer something. On this site, every outgoing app link is a referral link, and it is marked as such.

How to use a referral code or affiliate link
Using a referral is quick:
- Pick an app in the table and open it through the link, or copy its code.
- During sign-up, paste the code into the promo or referral field when asked. For link-based apps there is nothing to type.
- Complete the small conditions, usually a first deposit or a few card payments.
- Your welcome goodie lands in your account, often within a few business days.

Frequently asked questions
Do the codes cost me anything?
No. The codes and links are free to use, and your welcome goodie is paid by the provider. You never pay more because you used a referral.
Why do some apps have a code and others a link?
Banks usually give you a short referral code to type during sign-up, while brokers and international apps attach the reward to a link. Both do the same job.
Will the bonuses change?
Yes, providers adjust their offers over time. I keep this page updated, but always check the provider’s current terms before you sign up.
Is this independent?
Yes. Vilaron is an independent site and not connected to any employer or personal brand. The apps are ones I chose and use myself.
Is using a referral safe?
Yes. You sign up directly with the provider, exactly as you would without a referral. The code or link only tags who recommended you, it gives no one access to your account.
Can I use more than one?
Yes. Each app is separate, so you can open several and collect more than one welcome goodie over time.
Are the offers only for Switzerland?
The apps are Swiss or Switzerland-friendly. A few, like Wise, Revolut and Interactive Brokers, work internationally, but the bonuses and conditions listed here are the ones that apply in Switzerland.
What if I forget to enter the code?
Enter the code during sign-up to be safe. A few apps let you add it shortly after in the app, but some do not, so it is best not to skip that field.
How I keep this comparison honest
Two rules keep this useful. First, I only list apps I actually use, so if something drops off the list, it usually means I stopped using it. Second, the ranking is not sold: no provider can pay to move up the table, and the order simply follows the categories above.
I revisit the offers regularly and update the date at the top when a bonus or condition changes. Referral programmes do shift, though, so the provider’s own page is always the final word. If you spot something out of date, the contact form on my about page reaches me directly.
In short
If you were going to open one of these accounts anyway, using the code or link costs you nothing and usually gets you a little more. Pick the app that fits, grab the goodie, and if it helped, that small commission keeps this site running.
Prefer the full picture on each app? Every one links to its own honest review with pros, cons and fees.
